Founded by Tiara, CROWN STUDIO is a Sydney-based design practice creating sculptural sterling silver jewellery through slow, considered making.

Drawing on over 20 years of experience across architecture, interiors, graphic design, and object-making, Tiara approaches jewellery as an extension of her broader creative practice.

Rooted in storytelling, CROWN STUDIO explores how objects can carry emotion, memory, and individuality. Every piece begins as an intuitive study of form, sculpted in wax through carving, shaping, mark-making, and surface experimentation before being cast in sterling silver using the lost wax or investment casting process.

After casting, each piece is individually refined and finished, preserving the texture, gesture, and surface character that make it unique. Rather than pursuing perfect repetition, CROWN STUDIO embraces the marks of process and the quiet beauty of imperfection.

Made locally in Sydney, each piece reflects a slow fashion approach centred around longevity, material consideration, and thoughtful design.

OUR DESIGN APPROACH

EXPLORE

CAST
REFINE
WEAR
1 | EXPLORE

Each piece begins through material exploration, guided by curiosity, intuition, and experimentation.

3 | CAST

The wax form is cast in sterling silver using the ancient lost wax casting process, preserving the texture, gesture, and detail of the original piece.

5 | WEAR

The finished object is made to be worn, kept, and valued over time.

2 | SCULPT

The wax model is shaped slowly, allowing proportion, texture, and gesture to develop through the making process.

4 | REFINE

After casting, each piece is individually cleaned, refined, and finished to honour its unique form and surface detail.
